Tabata等发现,类风湿性关节炎及系统性红斑狼疮患者的外周血及关节液T细胞PTA1的表达水平明显增高。在上述患者中存在着全身或局部T细胞的活化,这可能与上述疾病的发病机理有关〔11〕。在肌炎患者中,PTA1表达水平比正常对照增高,并且PTA1的表达水平与疾病的活动性相关〔12〕。在出血热患者中,CD25及PTA1的表达均升高,在急性期明显高于康复期,提示出血热患者处于较高水平的细胞免疫状态,这有利于机体清除病原体〔13〕。在心脏及肾脏等器官移植患者中,PTA1以及其它的T细胞活化标记(如IL-2R)均高于正常对照,但在心脏移植患者中,PTA1的表达水平与病情未见明显的联系〔14〕。
PTA1分子是具有重要功能的新分子,有关PTA1的进一步研究尚有大量的工作要做。PTA1及PTA1L的组织细胞分布、功能、PTA1/PTA1L的相互作用及其介导的信号转导过程、PTA1与疾病的关系及PTA1L基因克隆是本课题今后进一步研究的主要内容。
