Advane of Molecular Biology in the Production of Recombinant Proteins by Filamentous Fungus Trichoderma reesei

Abstract Trichoderma reesei is one kind of filamentous fungi existing in nature universally .It has a long history as an industrially important strain efficently producing various hydrolases.In this paper,we reviewed the molecular biological progress in the production of homologous and heterologous proteins by the T.reesei recombinant strains with novel characteristics,which were modified by genetic engineering,The recombinant proteins that have been expressed in T.reesei included T.reesei endoglucanases,bovine chymosin,human antibody fragments,T.harzianum endochitinase and hormoconis resnae glucoamylase P,etc,The uses of strogn promotes expressed on glucose-containing media to drive the expression of cellulases were also reviewed in this paper.
